date 12 - hour clock

When we need only 12 hours date. 

We know the command date. 

[root@localhost ~]# date

Sun Oct 16 20:10:38 CEST 2022

[root@localhost ~]#

How can use date for 12 - hours format? 

[root@localhost ~]# date +%r

08:12:22 PM

[root@localhost ~]#
