ps -p

Sometimes we need find process via number of PID. Welcome to lesson of ps -p!

What is PID? 

PID is in prague world: prazska integrovana doprava (prague integrate traffic, very useful....go to www.pid.cz)

PID in linux

PID - process identification number.....it is automatically created because kernel has process scheduler

- one time next time in Process life:

we know command ps

check the -p argument

[root@miesizelezo ~]# ps -p 1163 -o comm=
sshd


and we see ps with PID 1163 = sshd process
